European Ready Mixed Concrete Organization (ERMCO) holds its Congress once in two years. The recent Congress was held in Oslo, Norway, from June 6 to 8, 2018.
RMCMA, as an Associate Member of ERMCO, was invited to attend the Congress. This time, the following persons belonging to RMCMA attended the Congress:
From RMCMA, a joint paper by Mr Vijay Kulkarni and Mr Ramesh Joshi on the topic “Evolution of Green Certification for RMC in India” was presented by Mr Kulkarni. Mr. Rameshi Joshi joined Mr Kulkarni later to answer certain queries raised during the discussion on the paper.

Read MoreRMCMA has taken initiative to club RABC meeting in different cities with round table conference of consultants and Architects etc. The first such meeting was held at Hyderabad on 25.11.2022. The meeting was attended by 13 officials of member companies and 19 consultants along with Dr. S. P. Anchuri and Mr. Pramod Tambe.
This provided the opportunity to all member companies to interact with consultants & to stress to source concrete from certified plants. The varieties of concrete produced in RMC plants and their applications were also presented through PPT.
The meeting was very fruitful, and we proposed to replicate this model at other places also.
